*People Power Battle Royal
We start with a battle royal full of lower card players, and a few wellknown names like The Miz and Christian and The Great Khali. The winner of the match will get a chance at either the United Stated Championship or the Intercontinental Championship. Rhodes and Santino are at ringside for the match. Darren Young has some really bright neon green tights, luckily he is eliminated by Alex Riley. Riley has a fight with former friend Miz before being eliminated by him. Tyson Kid is one of the last four, which is surprising. But Christian wins the battle royal. Not a big fan of Christian, but the match was a favorable way to start off the event. Christian chooses Santino Marella to wrestle later in the evening.
WINNER: CHRISTIAN

*Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth
Vickie Guerrero introduces her team of Dolph and Swagger. Vicki has turned into a superb heel manager and reminds me of a new generation Sensational Queen Sherri. And WWE doesn't get enough credit for working with her after Eddie's death. They gave her a job and worked hard with her. The company should be complimented. On to the match. Swagger and Kingston start the match by exchanging some basic wrestling holds. I never realized how many punches R-Truth throw. Ziggler hits a nice reverse bodyslam, but production misses it because of a double feature replay. Ziggler lands a right hand on Kingston, but the whole story gets lost because Truth just hit 50 punches before that. Ziggler and Swagger pull some nice double team moves on R-Truth including a wheel barrel into a face buster. Kingston comes in for the hot tag and flies all over the ring. He's awesome. Kingston gets the pin on Ziggler after a "Trouble in Paradise" kick. A dignified and competitive match. A definite hit.
WINNERS: KOFI & TRUTH

*Beth Phoenix vs. (c)Layla
The Divas Championship
With the monstrous Beth Phoenix looking to regain her belt. There was some blameless action, but very color by numbers. It didn't seem like the women were interested in telling a story through their actions, but just doing moves for the sake of doing moves. The Glamazon starts to work Layla's knee, so she is trying. Layla turns a press slam into a modified DDT, which was kind of cool. Layla retains the championship with a neck breaker out of nowhere. The match started slow, but picked uptowards the middle and end. A refreshing Diva's match for once.
WINNER: LAYLA (c)

*Fatal 4 Way World Heavyweight Championship
Alberto Del Rio vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. (c)Sheamus
The top stars of Smackdown come together for a Fatal Four Way bout for the World Heavyweight Championship. Sheamus and Orton tease a fight early on, and after the two take care of the heels, they start beating one another with kicks and punches. After the brief fight,Jericho and Del Rio double team Orton on the inside of the ring. The two then move on to Sheamus. Sheamus is spending a lot of time on the outside, while Del Rio, Jericho and Orton take turns working in the ring. Sheamus gets back in and works with Del Rio for a few minutes, before Orton and Jericho come back into play. Orton hits two signature powerslams. He also hits a double DDT on Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez. Too much action at the end to explain in writing. Some real gainful counters and reversals. Sheamus finally gets the pin on Jericho. Expecting a clustered mess but this was a very good bout. A surefire hit.
WINNER: SHEAMUS (c)

*Kane vs. Zack Ryder
We see a match of the former rivals during the Cena fued, the big red monster destroys Ryder once again tonight. Kane hits a chokeslam for the pinfall.
WINNER: KANE
